The Yellowstone of Credit River
The City has received an application from ME Development Company for a preliminary plat to construct 79 homesites and roads. The site is located north of Territory, southeast of Tara Farm, and west of Ranch of Credit River.
On the northern side of the proposed plat there will be 40 homes consisting of at least 2.5 acres each that will be served by individual well and septic and zoned as traditional rural residential lots.
The southern side of the proposed plat would consist of 39 homes that are proposed to be connected to the Territory CSTS and would generally be served by individual well. Lot sizes range from approximately .5 acres to 3 acres each.
Portions of the property being platted are currently subject to the Territory Conditional Use Permit previously granted by Scott County for open space. As the arrangement of lots on the CSTS system and the proposed open space are different from the existing Conditional Use Permit, an amendment to the Conditional Use Permit is also under consideration.
