Proposed Commercial / Industrial Development

The City has received an application for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to re-guide the future land use of several properties consisting of approximately 139 acres of land from Urban Expansion Reserve to Commercial. The properties proposed to be re-guided are the following:
- PID 049080030 – Genevieve Dahl
- PID 049080085 – Suarez Living Trust
- PID 049080083 – Pee Development, LLC
- PID 049080084 – Paul and Eunice Doelz
- PID 049080082 – John and Mary Mesenbrink
- PID 049080070 – Marcos Gomes
The application does not provide specific proposed uses but does provide a concept for light industrial/general business use that includes outdoor storage. Under the future land use guidance of Commercial the possible uses could include any commercial or industrial use list in Table 20-4 of the Zoning Ordinance. The land would need to be rezoned to Commercial or Industrial prior to any development occurring. No rezoning application has been submitted at this time.
