What is the Annual Resident’s Meeting all about? - As many of the residents of Credit River Township know; townships take a grassroots approach to government and have many unique opportunities for resident input. Minnesota state statute 365.10 gives the town residents certain powers at the annual meeting.
The township annual meeting is the resident's opportunity to get involved in the direction of the township. This is a unique system of resident participation that incorporated municipalities do not offer. This year's meeting was held in March 2010 at which time this continuation meeting date was set for resident's to VOTE on next year's tax levy. Don't miss this very important meeting to help determine your township taxes for 2011.
